Thanks for the love and donations – this is an update from MANGALILIU village and we also spoke to Charlie on Pele island. Everyone is thankful that there’s been no loss of life, but food shortages are a reality and widespread water contamination on Pele island 🙏🏽

To follow up on our previous post we have started a collection for 2 communities (MANGALILIU and Pele island) in Vanuatu that have been impacted by the double cyclone combo of Judy & Kevin.
The main issue is the destruction of gardens which for subsistence living is devastating to food security.
In Laonomoa village on Pele island the locally led disaster management committee has assessed housing needs and have moved the elderly and disabled to more secure houses in the village (which is good but will also strain the already overcrowded living conditions).
If you would like to make a donation we will be sending our financial support to these two places to the local disaster management committee and our Ni-Vanuatu OSW reps In these respective villages.
A 100% of any donations will go straight to this need and can be deposited into the OSW account

Thank you for your prayers and to any who may be able to give financially.
